New to the Mayan calendar?

  1. 1Calculate your kin
  2. 2Read the interpretation
  3. 3Keep learning
Step 1

Calculate your kin

Your kin is your galactic signature — the energy of the day you were born. It consists of one of the 20 solar seals (the symbol) and one of the 13 galactic tones (dots and bars). Together they make 260 different kins.

Enter your date of birth and you’ll instantly see your seal and tone.

Step 2

Read the interpretation

A kin is neither a label nor a prophecy. It is a mirror — a reminder of your gifts, your challenges and the way your soul flows most easily.

Here’s how to get to know it:

Galactic ID

Subscribe to the newsletter and your Galactic ID arrives in your inbox — as a gift. It shows your oracle, the castle and wavespell you belong to, the power, action and essence of your solar seal and galactic tone, your family, clan, chakra and the question of your tone.
Everything you need for your first encounter with yourself.

A small glossary

Words you’ll come across often

Kin
One day, that is, one of the 260 energies of the Tzolkin. Your personal kin is the kin of the day you were born.
Solar seal
One of 20 archetypes (Red Dragon, White Wind, Blue Night…) — the “image” of your energy.
Galactic tone
One of the 13 tones of creation — shows how the energy of the seal is expressed.
Wavespell
A 13-day cycle. Each wavespell has its own theme, and your kin is one step in it.
Oracle
Your seal and the four seals around it — guide, analog, antipode and occult — your personal map of support.
Tzolkin
The sacred 260-day cycle (13 × 20) — the heart of Mayan timekeeping.
13 Moon Calendar
A yearly calendar of 13 months of 28 days each + the Day Out of Time (July 25).
13:20
The frequency of natural time — as opposed to the artificial 12:60 (12 months, 60 minutes).
