13 Moon Calendar
13 months of 28 days
“Just as space is the atmosphere of the body, time is the atmosphere of the mind; if the time we live in consists of uneven months and days, regulated by mechanized minutes and hours, that is what our mind becomes: a mechanized irregularity. Whoever owns your time owns your mind. Be the master of your time and you will be the master of your mind.”

Is the Gregorian calendar the best choice of calendar for our world?
Of all the unexamined assumptions and standards on which we base and measure our daily lives, by far the greatest and most deeply unexamined is the instrument and institution known as the Gregorian calendar, which is used throughout the world as the official standard. What is the Gregorian calendar and where does it come from? Why do we keep using it? What is the relationship between the calendar and human behavior? If we don’t take the time to start thinking about this now, we may lose the only time we have.
What the calendar does to our mind is so profound that to be completely at peace with it would mean not questioning the foundations of human life and thought. When we run our lives by the Gregorian calendar and the mechanical clock, without questioning where they come from and why we use them, we are living by an “unconscious program”.
Keep in mind that the calendar is a programming device, one of the lasting signs of human culture. As a programming device, the calendar is the main instrument that gives the society using it its overall look and feel. The fact is that almost the entire planet is running on an unconscious program!

Gregorian calendar
The 12-month Gregorian calendar is not only inaccurate, it is also “arbitrary and irregular, lacking any connection to valid natural cycles”. Some months have 31 days, some 30, and February has 28 days, except for one extra day every fourth year (but not in century years, unless they are divisible by 400). The 12-month calendar hides the thirteenth month.
The number 13 is now surrounded by superstition and taboo — it is considered unlucky or evil. This fear is reinforced by cultural relics such as “Friday the 13th”. Buildings often have no 13th floor, or builders avoid the number 13. Why?

The key to time
The ancient Maya had a completely different relationship with the number 13, treating it as the very Key to time. The number 13 is the primary Mayan galactic number — the power of universal movement and creation. Together with the number 20 it is the basis of the Tzolkin calendar, and together with the number 28 the basis of the 13 Moon Calendar.
It is hard to fully grasp the meaning of all this information at once. Still, it is important to see that there is another calendar, one that gives everyone the opportunity to resynchronize with natural time.
Thirteen Moons and the Day Out of Time
The year begins on July 26. Every moon has exactly 28 days — four weeks of seven days — so every date falls on the same day of the week every year. The year ends with the Day Out of Time, July 25, a day of freedom, art and forgiveness. The current moon is highlighted.

Where does the calendar we use today come from?
The Gregorian calendar became the world standard in 1582. The source of this calendar is the Vatican Catholic Church. The mathematical structure of the 12-month calendar does not accurately reflect the harmony of nature. It also hides our connection with the order of time in which everything is synchronized. In artificial time there is a vibration of scarcity; the clock ticks relentlessly, pulling us into the mechanical pulse of the machine. This mentality often carries a subconscious vibration of division.
When the conquest of the New World took place, the knowledge of the calendar that contained the knowledge of the solar orbit was destroyed. By destroying this knowledge, the foundation of cosmic perception was destroyed as well — this is the root of calendar change and the closing of the cycle. Keep in mind that the destruction of Mayan knowledge of time was completed with the Vatican calendar reform of 1582, which gave us the (Gregorian) calendar we use today.
Adopting the 13-month calendar is a positive, concrete act that demonstrates the shift from fear to love, from chaos to harmony, from war to peace.
The end of time is the end of the old time of violence and separation, encoded in an irregular and chaotic calendar.
